DIY Lace Candle Jars

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

If you walk into any craft store (Michael’s is my preferred favorite) you can find cases of canning or mason jars, any type of lace you like and white spray paint. That and some tape is all it takes!

First step: Cut lace to the circumference of your mason jar. You can reuse the same piece of lace, or use a new piece every few times, depending on how many you want to make.

Second: Securely tape the lace around the middle of the jar. Unscrew the top and take out the lid, screwing back on only the metal ring around the top (Leave it off if you don’t want paint on it).

Then: Go outside! Find a nice piece of dirty pavement or lay something down to catch excess spray paint. Then, holding the jar in your hand and the spray can in your other, lightly spray around the entire jar. If the paint is too thick, the lace will slide off and the pattern won’t turn out.

After the paint has dried, slowly peel the lace off and smile at your own creativity.
